Arkansas authorities are investigating the loss of life of a former state senator as a murder. The Arkansas State Police stated Thursday that former state Sen. Linda Collins-Smith’s stays have been discovered late Tuesday.

CBS Little Rock affiliate KTHV reported the stays have been discovered exterior Collins-Smith’s residence in Pocahontas. Authorities have been unable to determine the stays till they have been studied by the state crime lab.
