BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – Argentina’s former President Cristina Fernández has introduced her candidacy for vp in October’s basic elections.
In a video posted on Twitter on Saturday, Fernández stated that former cupboard chief Alberto Fernández will lead the ticket.
“I’ve requested Alberto Fernández to go the method that we are going to combine collectively, he as a presidential candidate and I as a vice presidential candidate,” she stated.
Alberto Fernández served as chief of workers from 2003 to 2007 for Fernández’s predecessor and late husband, Néstor Kirchner. He remained in that place throughout a portion of Fernández’s time period as president from 2007 to 2015.
Alberto Fernández will problem conservative President Mauricio Macri, who has seen his recognition scores plummet resulting from excessive inflation.
