The physique of Garcia, 26, was discovered by a kayaker on Mountain Creek Lake, adjoining to her hometown of Grand Prairie. The stays of 28-year-old Alfonso Hernandez had been discovered on Feb. 17 in White Rock Lake, northeast of downtown Dallas.

Garcia and Hernandez had been reported lacking on Feb. 5, roughly one week after Garcia obtained a protecting order towards Hernandez, who was needed on a home violence warrant. Police discovered Hernandez’s automotive close to White Rock Lake by pinging Garcia’s cellphone within the hours after their disappearance was reported.

Investigators haven’t launched a explanation for demise for both Garcia or Hernandez. The couple’s kids have been positioned within the custody of Garcia’s twin sister, Atziry Mireles.
