New York Jets head coach Adam Gase claimed he didn’t know what a meme was after his introductory press convention Monday. If he didn’t know then he undoubtedly is aware of now.
Gase’s eyes drew the eye of social media customers in the course of the press convention. The coach’s intense gaze whereas speaking with reporters captured extra consideration than something he stated to reassure Jets followers.

A Twitter account mocking Gase’s gaze was shortly created. The account’s first tweet to the lots was, “simply maintaining my eyes on the prize, guys.”
Gase then joined “The Michael Kay Present” on ESPN New York after the press convention. He advised host Michael Kay he didn’t know what a meme was and stated he wasn’t on Twitter, in line with the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand.

Gase, 40, was employed Friday to exchange Todd Bowles, who was fired. Gase joined New York after he was fired by the Miami Dolphins after three seasons.
