A U.S. Marshal was killed within the line of obligation Thursday night following an officer-involved taking pictures in Tucson, Ariz.

The taking pictures occurred at round 5:30 p.m. within the metropolis’s midtown space, Fox 10 reported.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey confirmed the taking pictures on Twitter, posting: “I’ve simply discovered that tonight we misplaced a US Deputy Marshal from the District of Arizona. He was killed within the line of obligation in Tucson. My deepest condolences and prayers exit to his household and all of Arizona legislation enforcement.”
